Our TJHS Students of the Month, who were interviewed for WTIM were Alissa Brown, Keagan Heimsness, Lea Johnson, and Ben Sams.
Our 5th grade Student of the Month is Alissa Brown. She is enjoying math and science this year at TJHS. Alissa loves to create science projects! After high school, she would like to be a professional cheerleader, as it seems like fun to her! Alissa would like to share that she is nice and kind to people, as her fun fact.
Keagan Heimsness, our 6th grade Student of the Month, is loving science this year. He enjoys the experiments in the classroom. After high school, Keagan plans to be a software developer. He thinks this will be an interesting career and he can learn from his father. Keagan enjoys soccer. His favorite position to play is mid-field. A fun fact he would like to share is he has been super interested in STEM for a very long time!
Our 7th grade Student of the Month is Lea Johnson. Lea is enjoying her math and ELA classes this year at TJHS; however, math has always been her favorite because she loves solving difficult problems. After high school, Lea plans to be a doctor. She would love to have a job where she helps people every day. Lea is involved in soccer, TJHS track, and she is one of our 9th hour office runners. Lea's fun fact is she loves animals! She has two pets, Ivy and Sophie.
Ben Sams is our 8th grade student of the month. Ben is a literature fan; therefore, ELA is his favorite subject this year. Ben is part of the TJHS Gold Rush group and he is one of our office runners. After high school, Ben is considering law enforcement as his career choice. In his position, he wants to serve and protect the state. Ben's fun fact is he likes hanging out with his family and friends!
