Please take a moment sometime this week to think of our dedicated teachers at TJHS and throughout our district as we recognize and appreciate their efforts to positively impact our young people each and every day. We will have treats throughout the week just to say thank you, but my thought tonight is that we as a society ought to more highly esteem our teachers. I see them caring beyond what others think is necessary, providing for our kids both physically "food and clothing" and socially. They listen to our students and see them not just for who they are, but also for who they are becoming. Grace is given every day. Personal responsibility is fostered in our youth. Personal time is spent well beyond the work day almost everyday and still we find that too many see teaching as less than. Please join me and so many others in thanking a teacher that has made a difference in your life or that of your son our daughter and Tag them on this post or Share so they can see it as well. Remember that teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions. Thank you to our great staff at TJHS! It is a great day to be a Tornado!!
