Senior Airman Yeager W. Minott visited Mrs. Minott, Mrs. O’Brien, and Mrs. Richardson’s 8th grade classes to discuss his career path to the Air Force. Yeager talked about his education in high school, the recruitment process, his job selections, basic training, and his career path thus far. Yeager was stationed in Misawa, Japan for two years working as a Command Post Controller. He is currently stationed at Scott Air Force Base and now works as a Flight Controller. His knowledge and experience might inspire future military careers for the class of 2027. Senior Airman Minott is not a recruiter but did receive pamphlets, pens, window clings, cups, and rulers from the Springfield recruiter for those students that were interested in these items.
