TJHS Cross Country Tryouts will take place at 6:00 pm in Manner's Park beginning July 31st. TJHS Baseball tryouts will take place from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at the THS baseball field beginning July 31st.

Taylorville Junior High School tryout dates for IESA activities. Our goal is to provide positive experiences and promote active lifestyles in our students' lives. It was a beautiful day for our TJHS Luau! The kids had a blast.
The TJHS Student Council recently had a snack sale to benefit the Taylorville Food Pantry. Students were able to raise $300!
Mrs. Foil’s 7th Grade Geography classes finished up the year by completing an African Shield Project. Students researched a country then designed a shield drawing pictures about facts from their African country.
What a fun week in Mrs. Anderson’s 6th grade class. Mrs. Reindl went into Mrs. Anderson’s 6th grade classrooms last week and worked with the students on coding and flying drones. This week, the 6th grade students coded and drove sphero’s to bowl, play mini golf, and have bot battles. They also drove the drones through an obstacle course - all designed by Mrs. Anderson. Continue to learn while having fun!!
